Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program Outreach
The Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program (MISP) contracts with an Outreach Liaison based out of Bemidji, Minnesota. The Outreach Liaison provides college planning presentations with an emphasis on the Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program (MISP) for students, parents, schools, counselors, community groups and organizations statewide. The Outreach Liaison also provides support services to recipients of the scholarship with at least one annual contact and acts as a liaison between the Office of Higher Education and tribal education/scholarship offices, other state agencies, groups, associations and committees. In addition, the Outreach Liaison is available to meet with students and families during weekly office hours at an office located at the American Indian Resource Center on the Bemidji State University campus.
